I think there are multiple reasons for the "Get rid of Hillary" movement. Obama supporters want to get a good night sleep, of course. But there is also the long-held fear among many Democrats that Hillary would energize the Republican base in a way that Obama wouldn't. Certainly considering her delegate total there is no reason for her to pull out. And if what she says about Obama is perceived as being too negative, then it is up to him to point that out. Does he really think there is anything that Hillary has said that the McCain people were not going to say anyway?

The question isn't whether Sen. Clinton should get out of the race. She has every right to stay in as long as she wants.

The question is how she and her surrogates will campaign.

If her campaign continues on the tack it has occasionally taken, i.e. the low road, it probably won't deny Sen. Obama the nomination, but it may deny him the presidency.

It is that prospect that has so many people, not just Democrats, suggesting she get out, in my opinion.
